I am currently, the Director of IAS System Administration responsible for all AH Belo Corp newspapers, which includes The Dallas Morning News, Denton Publishing Company, The Providence Journal and hopefully, in the near future The Press-Enterprise. Employed 31 years ago, by the Dallas Morning News, I spent the majority of my career in management, both people and projects. I started in the Finance department and held various roles such as Assistant Billing Supervisor, Assistant Credit Manager, A/R Systems Coordinator, moving into Advertising as the Admarc Systems Coordinator and then Admarc Manager. 

I was involved in several major projects for Dallas, serving as a member of the Admarc Project Team, representing the Accounting Department and eventually went on to become the Advertising Technology and Projects Manager. 

During my involvement with Admarc, I served as a Board Member in various positions 4 consecutive single year terms as Vice President and 2 consecutive single year terms as President of the Admarc User’s Group. Member of the Admarc Advisory Board approximately 5 years.

I moved on to a new position as Director, Advertiser Customer Services, where I managed the Sales Operations Team, which included Sales Ops Managers and Sales Assistants, however continued to serve on the Admarc Advisory Board until the system was decommissioned at The Dallas Morning News.
 
AH Belo Corp selected Atex/AdBase to replace 10 of our existing systems across our newspapers. I was selected as the Functional Business Lead for IAS (AdBase) Project.  The experience on the Core Project Teams led me to my current role where I oversee the System Administration of AdBase for AH Belo Corp.
